Our History

Our History



Established in 2009, Community CareAge Foundation CCAF) is an approved tax -exempted charitable institution under section 88 of the Company Ordinance in Hong Kong. Our first community clinic for the Elderly started at Po Tat Estate, Kwun Tong. Due to popular demand, in 2011 we quickly extended our service to Kwun Fai Court, Ho Man Tin.
 
 
Our community clinics service was extended to Chun Seen Mei Chuen in Kowloon City.  In this year, the fourth and fifth service points were set up at Lai Tak Tsuen and Wun Sha Street, Tai Hang, and a grand opening ceremony was held at the Sunbeam Theatre.  Oi Man Estate service point in the Kowloon City District was also put into service at the end of this year, becoming the sixth service point.  Service provided came to over 17,000 user times.
 
 
In 2015, CCAF revised its Chinese name, and further extended its service to Sham Shui Po. Numerous community health check events were organized. Total service provided climbed to over 24,000 user times.
 

In September 2017, Nurse Station was extended to On Tat Esate in Kwun Tong and Sham Shui Po.
 
 

In 2018, to enhance public awareness of our unique senior care service, CCAF designated our community healthcare clinic with a name more illustrative of the nature of our service: “ CareAge Nurse Station”.  Became a member agency of the Community Chest, and Po Tat CareAge Nurse Station receives full sponsorship.  In April of the same year, Two service points were started in Kwai Chung District, in Lai King Estate and Kwai Fong Estates respectively totalling our service points to be 11 among 5 districts in Hong Kong. 
 

The 12th service point is located at Hing Wah Estate, Island East.  "Chan Dang Social Services Foundation" provides naming sponsorship of the services of the Kowloon City and Sham Shui Po Districts.
